The sign is used to indicate a lane, which is reserved for buses. If the lane is also for the use of taxis, this will be shown with “TAXI” written on the bottom edge of the sign. Trams, emergency vehicles, police vehicles, and other vehicles that may be indicated with an additional panel may also use the bus lane. When the bus lane is situated on the right side of the roadway, mopeds and bicycles are also permitted to use it. All vehicles are permitted to use the bus lane in order to group for a turn. The sign’s area of effect extends until the next junction, unless otherwise indicated with the E10.1 Bus lane ends or E10.2 Bus lane ends sign. The sign is to be placed above the bus lane at its beginning, and it can be repeated, if necessary.
