The sign indicates a place that is meant for loading or unloading passengers to and from a bus. Other vehicles than buses may not be stopped at the raised section for the bus stop, or if there is no raised section for the stop, in the area of road indicated by the road signs on both sides of the stop. If there are no road marks, parking within 12 metres of the bus stop is prohibited. This area can be used for standing or briefly stopping a vehicle, if doing so can be done without hindering tram traffic. In conjunction with the sign, the tram stop’s name, tram line markings, and other appropriate information about bus traffic may be posted.
